Sharing and public pages
Most of your work stays inside your workspace. When you want someone outside to see something, you share a read-only link or use one of Brainitive's public pages.
Share a doc or an issue
- Open the doc, or the issue panel, and click Share.
- Choose how long the link works: Never expires, or Expires in 1 day, 7 days, 30 days or 90 days.
- Click Create link and Copy it.
Anyone with the link can read that one doc or issue — nothing else: no comments, no people, no other content and no unpublished drafts. The dialog lists every link with who created it, when, and how often it was opened. Click the revoke button to switch a link off at any time. Once a doc or issue is shared, the button shows Shared.
You need edit rights on the doc or issue to share it.
Share a plan
Open a Gantt plan and click Share → Create link. Anyone with the link can view the plan — no account needed. They can zoom and filter, but not edit.
- New link (old one stops working) replaces the link.
- Turn off link stops sharing.
Release notes and changelog
When you publish the release notes of a release, they get a public page, and the project gets a Public changelog with all published release notes. Later edits stay private until you click Publish update; Unpublish takes the page down. See Boards and issues.
Public bookmark and snippet collections
Bookmark collections can be Shared (anyone with the link can view, read-only) and snippet collections or single snippets can be Public. See Bookmarks and snippets.
Public pages for customers
These pages are made for people outside your workspace:
| Page | Address | Who can use it |
|---|---|---|
| Helpdesk support page | …/support/<name> | Anyone: submit a support request |
| Lead form | …/f/<name> | Anyone: fill in the form |
| Booking page | …/book/<name> | Anyone: book a time with you |
| Feedback portal | …/feedback/<name> | Anyone can read; sign in by email to post and vote |
| Client portal | …/client/<name> | Only invited clients, signed in by email |
Your legal details
Workspace admins can add the workspace's legal entity and links to its own privacy policy and imprint in the workspace settings (Workspace settings → Legal). They are shown on support pages, forms and portals.
