Cloud plans and limits

Brainitive Cloud (brainitive.app) has four plans. Every feature is in every plan. Plans differ in how many members and projects a workspace can have, how much it can store, how long old versions are kept and which support you get.

A plan belongs to a workspace and is paid per member. Self-hosted installs have no plans and no limits; see Licence.

How members are counted

Everyone in the workspace counts, plus open invitations. A Free workspace has room for 3. When you invite a 4th person, Brainitive asks you to upgrade first. From then on, the workspace pays for every member. When members join or leave, the price follows automatically.

Each person can own up to 3 Free workspaces. Being a member of other people's workspaces is unlimited.

See your plan and usage

Workspace settings → Plan & usage shows the plan and how much of it the workspace uses: members, projects, content and files. Storage is measured once a night. Admins see a small warning in the app when something reaches 90 %.

At a limit

Brainitive tells you what is full and links to Plan & billing, where a workspace admin can upgrade. Members who aren't admins are asked to contact one. Everything already in the workspace keeps working; only adding more (members, projects, uploads, new docs or issues) waits until there is room again.

Downgrading or cancelling

Nothing is deleted when a workspace moves to a smaller plan, a payment fails or a subscription ends. For 90 days the workspace keeps everything, including old versions; only adding more is paused while it is over a limit. After those 90 days, version history follows the smaller plan's rule.

Billing

Payments are handled by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record: it charges the card, adds the right VAT and sends the invoices. Workspace admins find invoices, the payment method and cancellation under Plan & billing.
